The Sprayberry Band Booster Association, Inc. (SBBA) is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt charitable organization made up of hard-working parents & teachers who pool their talents to provide practical support for our school's band program and related activities. Executive Officers:
Your executive officers are responsible for day to day operations of SBBA and coordination of committee activities with the directors, students and parents.

Standing Committees and Chairs:
Your standing committees are a great way to actively help support your student in the band program and have some fun while you are at it! All Chairs of standing committees are at large members of the Band of Gold Board of Directors.
Chaperones: Julie Wallace
Provide safety and supervision at camps, practices, games, competitions, bus rides, LGPE, and other band events. Duties include: basic first aid; helping Hospitality, Uniforms, and MIB during games; ensuring all students are picked up after activities; and reminding students of band rules/procedures (in a positive manner) when needed.
MIB (Movers in Black) Properties and Equipment: Steve Rometo
Think of MIB as an all in one stage crew, properties construction shop, with logistics and transportation thrown in for variety! MIB help move any equipment needed for football games, rehearsals, camps, competitions, and concerts; build props for the shows; and help Hospitality and Chaperones when needed during band activities
Fundraising: Fundraising
Assist in organization, communication, and encouraging participation in current fundraising efforts; brainstorm and develop new fundraising opportunities.
Colorguard Liaison: Anne Daniels
Coordinates between SBBA and the Color Guard Instructors. Parents assist with activities specific to this group.
Percussion Liaison: Shannon Heath
Coordinates between SBBA and the Percussion Instructors. Parents assist with activities specific to this group.
Uniforms: Rebecca Wood
Assist with uniform fittings, small alterations such as hemming, and uniform collection at the end of the season; distribute and collect plumes during games and competitions. About 20 volunteers are needed to help with laundering marching band uniforms
SBOG Wearables and Gear (SWAG) Spirit Wear: Christy Henry
Help with marketing and sales of SWAG. Sell merchandise during selected home games, including setting up the Spirit Wear tent and breaking it down after the game. Brainstorm new products and designs.
Hospitality: Hospitality
Help prepare and serve food during band camp (food is provided, just help warming or preparing and delivering food to the school), serve dinner to the students before away games, and to decorate for the banquet and other events.
RaiseRight/SCRIP Program: RaiseRight
RaiseRight is a gift card purchasing program where parents and students can purchase gift cards for everyday purchase and receive cash back donations to the band program to assist with fundraising and dues.
Photography:
provide photo and video record of band activities including camps, football games, competitions, concerts and other performances. Provide images without watermark or copyright restriction to SBBA for display on SBBA website and in promotions.
Southern Invitational Music Festival (SI): Carlton Alford
This is Sprayberry's very own marching band competition for over 30 years. Hosted by the Band of Gold at Sprayberry High School on the third Saturday of October. Volunteers are needed to lead the various committees, including: promotion/marketing, sponsorships, ticketing, programs, trophies, hospitality, first aid, equipment, parking, concessions, and personnel.
Senior Parent: April Doty
Coordinates with Directors, SBBA, Seniors and their Parents for special activities for Seniors.
8th Grade Activities Chair
Coordinates delivery of information about BOG to feeder Middle School Programs (Daniel MS and Simpson MS). Coordinates 8th grade night where future band and guard members attend a game and participate with BOG.
